Push images

docker-reg.ie-geek.com
How to push an image (example: vendor Cisco)
  1. Sign in with the vendor account you were given. You are asked for the password; it is not stored on the command line.
    docker login docker-reg.ie-geek.com -u regcisco
  2. Tag your image with the registry name, your vendor repository (cisco) and an image name and version.
    docker tag myimage:latest docker-reg.ie-geek.com/cisco/asa-fw:1.0
  3. Push it.
    docker push docker-reg.ie-geek.com/cisco/asa-fw:1.0
  4. Check it: it appears in the dashboard and is scanned for vulnerabilities within about 5 minutes.

You can only push to your own vendor's repository (for example Palo Alto accounts push to paloalto/...); anything else is refused. Multi-platform builds work too: docker buildx build --platform linux/amd64 --provenance=false --sbom=false -t docker-reg.ie-geek.com/cisco/asa-fw:1.0 --push .

Pushing needs a vendor account.
